Metal Roses

I’ve been back at Metal Southend developing my ideas in the rose garden alongside artist Alison Carlier and the gardeners.  

The London Group Open 2015

I will be showing ‘Multi-story’ in Part 2 of The London Group Open from the 27 October to 6 November at The Cello Factory, 33-34 Cornwall Road, London, SE1 8TJ. The exhibition is open 2 – 6pm daily. I am also giving an artist’s talk on the 2 November between 6.30 – 8.30pm.

Metal NetPark LAB

I’ve just taken part in a week long residency ‘NetPark LAB’ at Metal in Southend with Alison Ballard, Mar Canet, Laura Daly, Claire Davies, Kay Lovelace, Conall Mcateer and Cathy Skene. As part of the residency we took part at Pecha Kucha night and developed our ideas for future NetPark projects.

HOUSE 2015

Co-commissioned by HOUSE 2015 and Photoworks Relict Material Servant’s Hall, The Regency Town House Basement, 10 Brunswick Square, Hove 2 – 24 May Wednesday – Sunday, midday – 6pm Free Relict Material is a new film installation from Amanda Loomes, shot on location at marine aggregate and concrete industry sites along the Sussex coast.

Multi-story wins South Central Open

Joanne Bushnell (Director of aspex), Stephen Foster (Director, John Hansard Gallery), Judy Adam (Independent Curator) and Jonathan Parsons (Artist) have selected me as the winner of the inaugural  ‘South Central Open’ 2014.
